Hello Gwen,
I was just checking on the status of my fellowship application, and I noticed that it indicated that they have not received your reference letter yet. I was wondering if you had to submit one since you'll be the one deciding?
Thanks!
Rose Wu

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your post. If you are in the class right now, then a letter of recommendation is not required from me. I know the application process makes you designate someone to send a letter of recommendation, but I don't have to submit one for you ... don't worry.
:)
Best wishes,
Gwen
